The mobile marketing agency, Aerodeon, today announced that it has been appointed by Pepsi to support their latest highly innovative promotion.

It has been realised that competition within the soft drinks sector for market share has considerably heightened over the last few years. Thus, Pepsi have decided to undertake an exciting SMS campaign with fantastic prizes in order to capture the attention of their 18-34 aged target audience.

Consumers are invited to text in a unique code found under the caps of Pepsi bottles and three lucky BMW 3.18, thirty Vespa ET4 150 and hundreds of bicycle winners will then be selected.

Five hundred secondary winners will also have the opportunity to instantly win free airtime and SMS credit, which should also prove to be extremely appealing to Pepsi’s target market.

The on-pack promotion is also being supported by a multimedia marcomms campaign, involving television advertising, outdoor and transport media, including buses, radio and point of sale activity.

Binatli Tugay, Aerodeon Turkey MD, says; “This campaign should enjoy an intense participation rate as mobile marketing has a dynamic and young structure which totally matches Pepsi’s brand image, products and target audience.”

Pinar Oney, Pepsi’s account director, said; “Aerodeon Turkey has consistently provided a professional and comprehensive service. Starting from the pre-campaign period they never hold themselves back and do the maximum they can.”
