15/05: Aerodeon and Attic Futura Innovate Across Key Titles
CD:UK Magazine to Launch Celeb Voicemail Service
Readers of CD:UK magazine will shortly be able to have their mobile phones answered by their favourite celebs from the popular Saturday morning TV show. Each week the pop stars who appear on the TV show will be invited to record a special message which will be offered exclusively to CD:UK magazine readers. Each celeb voicemail will cost £3 and is available to readers with phones on all mobile networks. Just imagine the excitement of having Gareth Gates answering your mobile when you're otherwise occupied!
Readers will also be able to buy CD:UK ringtones by simply sending a text message with the name of the artist. These will cost £2. The ringtones market to date has been dogged by poor quality providers offering ringtones using premium rate voice lines. This new service will be available to customers via a fixed price text service across all networks with the quality of the ringtones being guaranteed by CD:UK.
Sugar Magazine to Launch Premium Gossip Service
Sugar magazine, the UK's leading teen title, is to be the first magazine in the UK to launch a premium text gossip service. The service is the first cross-network reverse charge service launched by a magazine, which means readers with phones on all networks will be able to request the gossip by simply sending in a text message. For a charge of £1, readers will be able to text in the name of their favourite celeb and in return receive the latest gossip about the star from the magazine's editor.
