Campaign to build on hype surrounding launch of Fructis Long & Strong shampoo in France
This marks the first mass marketing MMS campaign for a brand
Aerodeon has been appointed by Tutti Quanti, a leading French operational marketing agency, to deliver a highly interactive MMS campaign to support the launch of L’Oreal Garnier’s Fructis Long & Strong shampoo in France.
The campaign, which will run from August 2004 until the end of October 2004, marks the first mass marketing MMS campaign to be run for a specific brand.
Adverts in top French celebrity weekly Voici invite the consumer to send in a picture of themselves, via MMS, to be judged by a panel at Garnier. These pictures will then be short-listed and the top 12 will appear in the magazine over a period of 3 weeks. The overall winner will be given the chance to spend the day like a star with 3,000 euros to spend plus a chauffeur driven limousine and photographer!
The readers of Voici will be given the opportunity to vote, via SMS, for their favourite ‘Miss Long & Strong’. Voters will receive the updated ranking of candidates and will be entered into a prize draw to win a camera phone.
This campaign, which is being undertaken by Aerodeon France, will be supported by flyers and will also be promoted on French radio stations.
