Promoting the mobile operator’s sponsorship of the Rolling Stones’ European Licks Tour, Digital agency Glue London and Aerodeon have developed what is believed to be the first pan European MMS application allowing the tour's crowds to have their own MMS pictures sent live to the on-stage digital screens.
Working with T-Mobile's campaign theme, which encourages customers to 'Let Your Rock 'n' Roll Out', Glue London have developed a pan European website specifically for the tour (www.whatwillyoustart.com). The site enables T-Mobile customers to interact with the full range of t-zones music content, such as Ringtones, Pictures, Soundclips, Funstuff, Icons and Tour information, and drives customers through to t-zones to purchase. The site is very simple to navigate, with clear instructions on how to download content and is the only official information source for Rolling Stones / t-zones related across countries in Europe.
Rolling Stones fans lucky enough to be attending concerts will be in for a treat thanks to MMS phones. Working with Aerodeon, Glue has developed the first fully automated, pan European MMS application that combines a show reel edit featuring T-Mobile content. MMS pictures can be taken within the stadium and then sent to be broadcast live and instantaneously onto the digital screens used behind the stage.
